I couldn’t be happier with the finished results of the work done by Margaret and her team. From the very first meeting with Margaret and throughout all the subsequent planning meetings Margaret always listened to what I wanted and then took this and proceeded to produce the plans to make the ideas really. Never once did she try to push any idea or concept that I didn’t want. At times I have no doubt that she must have had some reservations about my ideas but she always said that she regarded her job as to take what I wanted and work it up to a design. That being said Margaret was always prepared to give advice and to share her extensive knowledge of design and colour theory. There were many times that I went with her advice, and am extremely glad I did. The one stop shop nature of Grand Designs was a major advantage for me. From plumbers to furniture upholsters Margaret organised everything and the work carried out by every trades person was top notch, not only can I not fault any of them but would highly recommend them. Margaret was a joy to work with and made the whole project run smoothly and efficiently. Her attention to detail and around expertise are exceptional. The project I got done was effectively a remodelling of the entire ground floor, including an extension and an upstairs bedroom as well as the hall and landing. Now that it is all finished I can honestly say that there is nothing I would like to have done differently, I couldn’t be more satisfied with the end result. This applies equally to the design elements and to the quality finish. If you are thinking of getting some work done then you will not find anyone better than Margaret and Grand Designs.
